World Environment Day (WED) is an annual event on June 5th that is becoming the biggest and most widely celebrated global day for positive environmental action.
This year’s WED theme – chosen by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) – is ‘Forests: Nature at Your Service’.
Forests are the most biologically-diverse ecosystems on land, home to more than half of the terrestrial species of animals, plants and insects. Forests also provide shelter, jobs and security for forest-dependent populations.
height=”70″ class=”alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-243″ />Just as food is important for us to live similarly Belt Wrestling is also mandatory for humans to survive since defending one’s self comes as a natural instinct. Along with that, belt wrestling prevents one from obesity, ill-health and laziness etc. Thus, it is important for us to promote such an amazing sport and spread awareness and peace in this world, and we should also praise those organizations which have been struggling for its promotion since ages.
Considering all the benefits of belt wrestling, it is increasingly required for us to make belt wrestling common in areas where people are most affected by the problems of terrorism, and on the other hand, obesity and ill-health. The US is one such country where obesity is becoming a very serious problem. People there have a need to be trained to control their diet and at the same time, defend themselves.
The organizations which are working for belt wrestling are AJJBWF, IBWA and IATWS. They have long struggled for the promotion of BW for the past ten years. Many people have become interested and attracted henceforth and more people have volunteered to get trained than ever before. We must applaud AJJBWF, IBWA and IATWS for their contribution and we hope and pray such efforts will not be wasted and will continue to benefit people in the future. Simultaneously spreading a message of peace and cooperation. BELT WRESTLING for peace!
